HTML2Any

HTML2Any is the software to convert html/text data to html/javascript/text data with charset encoding conversion or without. Open file, set source charset encoding and reopen source document, convert to destination document, then save it.

Pros: HTML2Any converts HTML and/or Text data to HTML/javascript/text data. This can include charset encoding conversion if you want or without it of course. Getting a file open through the interface is straight forward. Other inputs are possible via drag and drop ease and paste through the clipboard. Source character encoding can be set, you can re-open source document for any adjustment you need. Save the destination document in the intended character set. Copy and re-paste it to source field.

Text to javascript and HTML to javascript conversions area is managed. That includes URL encoded character set encoding. Text to javascript variable and HTML to javascript variables are handled in the application quite easily. Text to HTML code, HTML to HTML code, text to HTML page, HTML to HTML page, HTML to plain text by removing HTML tags, javascript to plain text are some other features. Text/HTML/javascript content can have character set encoding including ANSI to Unicode, ANSI to UTF8, ANSI to UTF16, UTF8 to UTF16 and UTF16 to UTF8 are possible and available. Other character set conversions possible are text to base64 encoded text, HTML to base64 encoded text, base64 encoded text to text/HTML. Text and HTML to URL encoded ASCII characters, text and HTML to URL encoded all text characters. Text or HTML to quoted encoded text URL encoded to URL decode text/ HTML are some of the other features. The interface is simple. One area is related to source documents while the destination area has necessary settings. A big range of character sets are available in a drop down list.

Overall: With really a range of character sets this application should be a useful tool for many situations. Overall this is certainly a 4 star item.
